Miss and Mr Liverpool.
Friday night saw the star studded Miss/Mr Liverpool event at the Olympia. A total of 36 girls and 9 guys were competing for the title which saw Sarah Fairley crowned as Miss Liverpool 2011 and Daniel O’Connor crowned as Mr Liverpool 2011. Runners up for the girls included Chloe Murphy in 2nd place and Rebecca Dillon in 3rd and for the guys Chris Tollick came 2nd and Dean Bee in 3rd.
Sarah Fairley, from Maghull, had never entered a beauty competition before taking part in the finals of Miss Liverpool. Both Sarah and Daniel will now automatically go through to the Miss/Mr England competition later this year.
Judging the competition were Managing Director of Impact, Christine Cartwright along with a whole host of celebrities including models Danielle Lloyd, Amanda Harrington and actress Jennifer Ellison. Jennifer presented Danielle with a replica of her Miss England crown which was stolen a few years ago.
The contestants were judged in a variety of categories including evening, fashion wear and swimwear.
